AAdvantage

AAdvantage is the loyalty program of the airline American Airlines, a member of oneworld.

As loyalty programs, member of oneworld having different names according to regulations proposed for membership, OneWorld has created a set of symbols oneworld – Emerald, Sapphire and Ruby – to ensure that passengers receive frequent privileges related to their status, whatever the oneworld airlines with which they travel.

Emerald – AAdvantage Executive Platinum
The status is the Executive Platinum status Emerald oneworld
Members of AAdvantage Executive Platinum ® may receive the following benefits throughout the oneworld network:
Priority at the check First Class (subject to availability) or at check-class, whatever the class of flight.
Privileged boarding (boarding at the convenience)
No preferential seating (if offered)
Priority on waiting lists.
Access to more than 500 lounges private airlines in out network during an international flight, including First Class lounges, regardless of class flight of the day in question.
Each airline alliance oneworld reserves the right to change the rules, regulations, travel awards and special offers on its frequent flyer program and put an end to this program in accordance with regulations. AAdvantage miles can only be earned on tickets purchased at prices publiés2.
1 The lounge access is not available when you travel only on North American routes. The North American routes are defined as all travel within or between the United States, Canada, Mexico (excluding Mexico City), Bahamas, Bermuda and the Caribbean.
2 Miles and points AAdvantage can not be accumulated or converted on transatlantic flights by British Airways. However, please note that the AAdvantage miles may be added but not converted on services code-share operated by American Airlines and British Airways between Manchester and Boston and between Manchester and Chicago when the reservation has been made under the code AA.
Sapphire – Aadvantage Platinum
Platinum status is the status oneworld Sapphire

The Platinum ® AAdvantage members can receive the following benefits throughout the oneworld network:
Priority at check-class (subject to availability), irrespective of the class of flight.
Privileged Boarding (boarding at the convenience).
No preferential seating (if offered).
Access to all rooms of the Class of oneworld airlines and the airport during an international flight, whatever the class flight of the day in question.
