Horizon Assess Air ™ is a certification body at international level in the field of air transport, created through the initiative of the French State within the framework of a public-private partnership. The structures concerned are the airline companies but the consumers and the professionals of tourism are essential actors of the label. Any airline company, of any size, is eligible to be a candidate with the label and profit from this mark of recognition.

Conceived and validated by various parties involved, Horizon Assess Air ™ is based on a constructive and powerful methodology. It is articulated around the following sections :
   - Security
   - Transparency of information
   - Quality of the services

The objective of the label is to affirm the engagement of the airline companies in the fields of Safety, the Transparency of Information and the Quality of Services. The airline company must therefore comply with all sections is a positive manner in order to be a holder of the label. The certification is acquired for 3 years, subject to positive results with the initial and intermediate evaluations carried out by the organization responsible for the label.

The label does not replace the national, European and international regulations applicable and concerns, initially, only the airline companies eager to obtain the label for flights at arrival to and departure from the French territory. Thus, Horizon Assess Air ™, with the service of the consumers, is subject to modifications to integrate or withdraw complementary requirements in its future versions, in connection with the current regulations, the reality of the airline companies and the return of information by the consumers.
