AIR VALID is an editing company which pools resources and publishes information for travelers with the aim of informing them about the identity of an airline company.

How can one obtain information concerning an airline company?

AIR VALID offers a detailed card for each indexed airline company. These cards are accessible to travelers on the site, AIR VALID or via the site from travel partners at the time of the reservation of a flight.

Which information is indexed by AIR VALID?

AIR VALID indexes financial indices (Capital, sales turnover, manpower, partners, subsidiary companies…), of administrative information (Coordinated, registered office, luggage service…) and factual information (Company code, country of origin, creation date, floats, declared incidents…).

What is the reliability of the information transmitted by AIR VALID?

For the creation of its data base AIR VALID sources its information and latest news from airline companies official sites as well as from professional and official authorities of Air transport (IATA, ICAO, DGAC, ITA, SNAV, AEA, AFRAA…)

What is the actualisation mode of the data?

AIR VALID updates information on the site every quarter; however each airline company has the capability of constantly updating information relating to themselves.

Which is the responsibility on behalf of AIR VALID concerning communicated information?

AIR VALID does not rewrite information. They offer public data, which is collected and organized in a summary form and yet effective enough for the traveler to know about the identity and the origin of an airline company, according to the recommendations of the the European Parliament and at Decree n° 2006-315 of March 17, 2006 relating to the obligation of informing air passengers on the identity of the airline that they will be flying.

How are airline companies rated?

AIR VALID recommends that travel agencies give their traveling customers a questionnaire on return of their trip in order to rate the airline company on which they flew. The ratings collected are then added and sum up on an overall rating over 20 on the specific airlines. Secondly, AIR VALID will be able to provide ratings about airline companies and their flights.

On which elements does the note on behalf of the travelers rely?

AIR VALID designed a personal questionnaire which relates to the “feeling of comfort and safety” during the trip. This questionnaire comprises of 30 questions relating to the trip, from boarding to leaving the aircraft, distribution of luggage, the physical condition of the plane and your dealings with crew during the trip.
This questionnaire can be completed only in the exclusive condition having travelled on a flight and when:
- you receive a request for your opinion from a travel agency,
- you have all information relating to traveled flight,
