The airline based in Canada, Air Canada releases its figures for the month December 2009. Air Canada and its Jazz subsidiary recorded an average load factor of 81.2% in December 2008 that is a slight decrease of 0.5 points. Moreover the consolidates traffic for the month of December 2009 and Air Canada Jazz is up to 3.4% compared to December 2008 thus increasing the overall capacity of around 4%. In addition the transatlantic traffic grew by 3.6% over the same period last year, thereby increasing capacity of around 6.3%, the cross-border Canada-US is down to 8% with a decrease in capacity of around 1.3% and Canadian domestic traffic, meanwhile is up by 1% compared with December 2008 with capacity up 2.4%.
