Air Canada releases its figures in August 2009

The flag carrier of Canada based in Montreal, Air Canada releases its figures for the month of August 2009. A load factor of 86.8% was recorded for the month of August 2009, compared with a figure of 84.4% for the month of August 2008. Air Canada and its subsidiary, Air Canada Jazz have recorded a slight decrease of 0.4% for traffic. The transatlantic airline Air Canada rose by 8.5% over the same period last year, increasing capacity of around 8.1%. The domestic traffic meanwhile, is up 1.7% compared with the month of August 2008, with capacity down 2.8%.
