The national airline of Mauritius, Air Mauritius has changed its luggage policy on its flights to Europe. Following the new luggage policy, Air Mauritius will now apply the piece concept on its flights to Europe. Therefore, passengers flying in economy class on flights to Europe will be entitled one piece of 23kg as luggage allowance whereas business class passengers will be entitled three pieces of 23kg as luggage allowance. Air Mauritius frequent flyer members Kestrelflyer Elite and Kestrelflyer Plus will be entitled an extra piece of luggage of 23kg on flights to Europe. This new luggage policy on Air Mauritius flights to Europe will be effective on tickets bought as from 1st June 2010.
