Being refunded for the price of an air ticket after bankruptcy depends upon 2 major conditions; the place where the ticket was bought and how the air tickets were bought. If the air ticket was bought directly with the airline, the latter is not obliged to reimburse the air ticket. If the air ticket was purchased with a credit card on the website of the airline, the airline ticket might be reimbursed according to the Consumer Credit Act. On the other side if an airline ticket was bought trough a travel agent, the airline ticket might be totally refunded. But the reimbursement depends on the travel agency. Some travel agencies might not reimburse tickets bought for a lowcost flight or cover a flight-only ticket. The best way is to ask the travel agent when buying the airline ticket.
