Following Alitalia flights cancellation due the volcanic activity in Iceland, Alitalia passengers who are unable to reschedule their flights are required to ask for their refund before the 31st May 2010 as Alitalia will provide a full ticket refund without penalty to all passengers affected by the flights cancellations. However, to request their air ticket refund Alitalia passengers who’s ticket were purchased on the airline website should send an e-mail on the airline e-mail address after the 20th April. Alitalia apologizes for the inconvenience caused and will update its flights status schedules to enable its passengers to be aware about the latest flights status schedules.
