The airline based in Italy, Alitalia resumed its 580 flights since Tuesday 20th April 2010 after being grounded since the eruption of the volcano in Iceland on the 14th April 2010. Alitalia is operating its flights normally, that is, 353 domestic flights, 106 international flights and 21 Intercontinental flights. However, Alitalia passengers whose flights were cancelled due to the volcanic ashes emission in Iceland, Alitalia will be refunding these air tickets. Moreover, Alitalia advise its passengers to check their flights status before proceeding to the airport.
