The airline based in the United States, American Airlines in partnership with British Airways, Qantas Airways and Cathay Pacific finances the airline based in Japan, Japan Airlines. Moreover American Airlines, British Airways, Qantas Airways and Cathay Pacific are founding members of the Oneworld alliance. In other words American Airlines in partnership with the other founding members of the Oneworld alliance finance Japan Airlines’ finance its restructuring. American Airlines, British Airwaus, Qantas Airways and Cathay Pacific made available a total of 1, 239, 144.57 pound sterling in order to finance Japan Airlines. Hence the sum made available by the other airlines to Japan Airlines will help the airline to overcome the hardships in the coming weeks.
