The airline based in Belgium, Brussels Airlines is now welcomed by Star Alliance. The ceremony where Brussels Airlines officially joins the Star Alliance was held in Brussels on 9th December 2009. Hence with Brussels Airlines as a member of the Star Alliance, the passengers served on the network of the Star Alliance now have the choice between more flights to Brussels Airport which is now a hub of the Star Alliance. Hence since Brussels Airlines joins the Star Alliance, passengers served on the network of Star Alliance will now profit from flight in African.
