Code share between Japan Airlines and Emirates

The national airline of Japan, Japan Airlines and the airline based in United Arab Emirates, Emirates will be in code share as from 28th March 2010. Japan Airlines and Emirates will code share flights between Tokyo and Dubai. Japan Airlines will place its code JL on flights operated by Emirates between Tokyo Narita and Dubai. Since October 2002, both carriers Japan Airlines and Emirates linked their loyalty programs JAL Mileage Bank and Emirates’ Skywards respectively to facilitate passengers to redeem and earn miles on flights operated by either airline. The code share flights between Tokyo and Dubai will be operated by a Boeing 777-300 of Emirates.
