Delayed or cancelled flights compensation

As from the 19 November 2009 a new law has been passed for compensation concerning delayed or cancelled flights. According to the European Court of law in Luxemburg, passengers whose flight has been delayed for more than 3hrs or cancelled have the right to claim for compensation. The airline will be subjected to compensate the passenger of up to £ 542 for the delayed or cancelled flights. Also the Airline has the right not to pay for the compensation if the reason for the delay or cancellation of the flight is not justified.
