Etihad Airways code share agreement with Qantas

As from 29th March 2009, the code share agreement by both companies Etihad Airways and Qantas will come into effect. Etihad Airways will put its two letters ‘EY’ code on Qantas domestic flights. Qantas operates domestic services beyond Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Moreover Etihad Airways will also place its code on Qantas flights departing from Melbourne to Auckland. On the other hand Qantas will put its two letters ‘QF’ code on all flights operated by Etihad Airways between Australia and Abu Dhabi.
