IATA standing for International Air Transport Association, has published the June 2010 results which shows that airlines are recovering up following the financial crisis that was felt throughout the world. From the June 2010 results that has been published by IATA, international passenger demand increased by 11.9% as compared to last year over the same period. It is also shown from the June 2010 results published by IATA that Asia is recovering faster than Europe. In June 2010, the airlines in Africa recorded a 21.3% rise in traffic due to the World Cup 2010 that was held on the African soil for the first time.
