Jet Airways, based in India has launched its first ever flights to Johannesburg from Mumbai. Jet Airways will offer daily nonstop flights from Mumbai to Johannesburg. The Mumbai to Johannesburg flights will be ensured by the carrier’s Airbus A330-200. Jet Airways flights 9W242 takes off from Mumbai at 0145 hrs and lands in Johannesburg at 0715 hrs. The return flights 9W241 then leaves from Johannesburg 1100 hrs and reaches Mumbai at 2335 hrs. Jet Airways has launched its Johannesburg flights from Mumbai before the world cup 2010 is about to kick off thus providing passengers with better flight connections to Cape Town, Durban and Port Elizabeth, cities where world cup 2010 matches will be played.
