The European Commission, Europa states that a passenger can claim refund or compensations up to €1220 if their baggage have been lost or damaged. With the new laws by Europa passengers can claim compensation for lost baggage and delayed baggage. For instance, passengers should file a complaint to their airline within a period of seven days and for lost baggage within 21 days. Europa insists that all these measures concerning Lost and damaged baggage are respected by airlines to give a better service to their passengers and also make passengers know their rights.
