Singapore Airlines green flight

The airline based in Singapore, Singapore Airlines has completed the first multi sector demonstration green flight by saving over more than 10 tonnes of fuel and a reduction in carbon emissions of over more than 33 tonnes. Singapore Airlines Boeing 747-400 green flight takes off from Los Angeles on 31st January 2010 to reach Singapore via Tokyo early in the morning. Singapore Airlines green flight aims to promote environmental stewardship in the region.
