The alliance based in Amsterdam, Skyteam celebrated its 10th year on 22nd June 2010. Skyteam was founded in the year 2000 and has 13 members today and operates 13,000 flights everyday to 898 cities in 169 countries. The 10th year of Skyteam was celebrated in New York. At the celebration of the 10th year of Skyteam, it was announced that Air Europa, Kenya Airways and TAROM became full members of the alliance.
