Star Alliance welcomes its 28th member Aegean Airlines on 30th June 2010. The welcomed ceremony for Aegean Airlines was held by Star Alliance in Athens. As Aegean Airlines has now joined Star Alliance, passengers will be given more benefits such as the possibility to redeem miles on any other airlines member of Star Alliance.
