Tap Portugal First Half Results 2009

The airline based in Portugal, Tap Portugal posted first half results 2009 that shows a net negative 72.4 million euros, which is lower than the 53.2% to 154.9 million euros of losses the group recorded in 2008, on the same period. The operating profit of Tap Portugal for its first half results 2009 amounted to 927 million, representing a decrease of 11.8% compared to 1 050.8 million in 2008. However the first half results 2009 of Tap Portugal increased from 1 067.9 million in 2008 to 855.2 million in 2009, which shows an improvement of 19.9%.
