Tap Portugal announced its passenger record which showed that it has transported 34,931 passengers on 31st July 2009. Tap Portugal broke the passenger record of the company for a single day with this number. All the destinations served by Tap Portugal this last month of June worked well, particularly Africa, Europe and Brazil. With its improvement in its passenger record levels in the recent weeks Tap Portugal got a number of passengers at the end of July almost equal to that of July 2008 (-0.3%) with July the best month in 2009 so far.
