US Airways in code share with Brussels Airlines

The airline based in the States, US Airways plans to enter into a code share agreement with the flag carrier of Belgium, Brussels Airlines. However, the US Department of Transportation and the Belgium government have to approve the code share between US Airways and Brussels Airlines. As Brussels Airlines is also a member of Star Alliance, passengers of US Airways will also have access to Brussels Airlines’ lounge. If the approval is given by both governments for the code share, US Airways passengers will benefit from Brussels Airlines route to Europe and Africa.
