Since 3rd July 2009, Virgin Blue is proposing flight from Sydney to Hamilton Island. The choice of Virgin Airline to launch the new direct flight from Sydney to Hamilton Island was made due to the great demand of the passengers. The introduction of a direct flight of Sydney to Hamilton Island with Virgin Blue will provide more ease as well as another airline alternative for the destination. The Boeing 737 aircraft will be operated by Virgin Blue for the route between Sydney and Hamilton Island.
