Wizz Air launches new destinations and expands its base in Gdansk aboard the new aircraft Airbus A320. Wizz Air Airbus A320 will operate as from 17th December 2009. Airbus A320 will allow Wizz Air to promote new flights to Milan Bergamo and Eindhoven twice and thrice a week respectively. Wizz Air launched its first flight from Gdansk in August 2004 and opened a base in March 2006 with one Airbus A320. The second Airbus A320 aircraft of Wizz Air was put into operation in July 2007.
