TAP is the Portuguese airline, the market leader, and celebrated its 60th anniversary on 14 March 2005, when she also joined the Star Alliance, the largest global air reunification.
With a hub in Lisbon – platform privileged access to Europe – at the crossroads with the other continents; the company currently flies to 43 destinations spread over 25 countries in Africa, North America and South America, where it became the leading European airline for the Brazilian market.
TAP Portugal has carried more than 530 000 passengers between January and November 2007, representing a growth of 27.7% on European routes from the company, over the same period last year.
At the end of November 2007, TAP Portugal has carried more than 7 million passengers on a new annual record.
