Events Vueling Airlines

The origins of Vueling Airlines in the late 2002, when Carlos Munoz and Lazaro Ros have formed a promotion company which has funded market research and economic viability for the project.

Sales Vueling began on 16th May 2004 with a campaign of flights to 10 euros than 50,000 tickets have been sold in 15 days. Our first commercial flights (Barcelona-Ibiza) took place on 1st July 2004. The original fleet consisted of 2 new A320, offering daily flights from Barcelona to destinations such as Paris, Brussels, Palma and Ibiza.

Our philosophy
We wanted to create an airline with which the aircraft would take a real pleasure and pay less would not be synonymous with service and comfort of lesser quality.

Best prices: we offer best prices through a different management and technology.

Airport: We operate from airports in each city: Paris – Charles de Gaulle, Barcelona – El Prat, Madrid – Barajas, Milan – Malpensa, Rome – Fiumicino etc.

Punctuality: When you travel with us, the punctuality rate is very high in a month usually 85 to 90% of our flights arriving on time, which is considerably higher than the industry average.

You choose your seat: We are the first Spanish airline to allow you to reserve the seat of your choice when you buy your ticket.

New aircrafts: No more planes déteintes tapestries. Vueling has a fleet of brand new Airbus A320 consists of the latest generation with all the security and comforts that, that implies.

Experienced Drivers: Our drivers are all more than 2,000 flight hours under their belt. This may be the pilots who recognize the most hours of flights of the country.
